Hourly Austin Wedding Photography?

You bet I offer hourly wedding photography.  Over the last 6 years that I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer, I’ve learned that while some brides want it all, there are some couples who prefer a small wedding.  Big or small, I’ve got a wedding package for you, and every one includes a DVD with high-rez photos and a print release.

I come to your wedding with all kinds of professional Nikon and Leica gear (including backups), I prefer to use smaller cameras.  Why?  A big camera is intimidating.  If you want real, authentic candids, small cameras are the way to go.  People don’t see me coming, and that lets me get authentic wedding pictures.  I dress in nice clothes for your wedding and am basically a guest with a very cool camera who knows how to do fast formals.

What are my favorite Austin wedding venues?  I love outdoor wedding venues like Laguna Gloria, Mercury Hall, The Vista on Seward Hill, Villa Antonia, Star Hill Ranch, and Nature’s Point.  During the summer when it get’s super hot, I prefer indoor wedding venues with great air conditioning:  Four Seasons, the Driskill, the Blanton, and the Renaissance Hotel.

What is my style?  Clean, crisp, bright wedding photos.  I don’t do a lot of heavy photoshop processing.  When I was learning how to be a wedding photog, I used real film.  Old School.  So now, when I take a picture, I am sure to get it right “in the camera”.  I love to get tons of candids.  I love engagement pictures and bridal portraits.  Fast formals are my specialty, and of course I’ll get all those important moments during the ceremony.

So if you want an Austin Wedding photographer who knows how to do it all, contact me.
